The Royal Darbar area of the museum presents a striking display of paintings that speak of Rajasthan's rich history. Laying out a magnificent array of artworks ornamented with pure gold motifs, the room also includes wax statues of Rajasthan's prestigious royalties like Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and Rajmata Gayatri Devi.
Shining bright as an example of Rajasthan's iconic artistry, is the Sheesh Mahal part of the museum complex. It was built by Maharaja Man Singh in the 16th century and has been revived by the recent attempts of restoration. With over 2.5 million elements of the finest glasswork, the optical illusion created in the palace assures you of an unforgettable experience. Gati Gamini, a 10-foot-long Royal Enfield Bullet is one of the major attractions of the museum.
Instituted by the Entertainment 7 Ventures Pvt Ltd, the museum is open for visitors on all days from 10 AM to 6 PM. Currently, a visit to the museum costs ₹500 for Indians and ₹700 for foreign nationals. While personal photography is prohibited inside the premises, you can get yourself clicked at ₹25 per copy.
