Lying approximately 390 kms from both Kanpur and Lucknow, amidst lush greenery, dense forests and tranquil waterfalls, the Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary is one panoramic paradise.

The scenic sanctuary is a significant spot on the tourism map of Uttar Pradesh, owing to its wide variety of wildlife dotting the landscape and the glistening Chandraprabha River flowing through the sanctuary. Covering an area of 78 sq kms in the vastness of the Vindhya mountains, the forest of the Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary was named after the Chandraprabha river here.
