KL Rahul likely to lead the debutant Lucknow franchise in 2022 IPL!

The Lucknow IPL franchise is all set to make its entry in this year's Indian Premier League with KL Rahul as the team captain. Apart from KL Rahul, ahead of the mega auction that is set to take place on February 12 and 13, Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi are also likely to be chosen by the debutant Lucknow franchise in this year's IPL edition. While the Lucknow Team has officially announced its coaching board by naming Gautam Gambhir, Andy Flower and Vijay Dhahiya as the leaders, so far, no players name has been formally announced by the team management. Not just the playing 11, the logo of team Lucknow and its name have also not been decided yet.

After starting his IPL career in 2014, KL has served as the captain of the Punjab Kings in the last two editions of the Indian Premier League. Notably, the skipper currently serves as the vice-captain of the Indian Cricket team in one-day internationals and T-20 cricket. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, the right-handed batsman is set to lead the Indian team in the upcoming ODI against South Africa.

Even though KL Rahul's name has been doing the round for quite some time now, it must be noted that the team has not yet shared any official confirmation regarding the draft recruits.
