Lace up for change! Join PCOD Foundation's 'Run For Her' Marathon, this Sunday

Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD) is a common yet often misunderstood health condition affecting millions of women worldwide. Despite its widespread impact, it remains a topic many shy away from. But the more we speak up, the closer we come to understanding the importance of early detection, and better care.

In an effort to combat this silence, the PCODestigmatised Foundation in association with Vanshati is organizing 'Run for Her,' a half marathon in Lucknow this Sunday, Sep 22. This event aims to empower women, spread knowledge, and inspire change. Spearheaded by members of the PCOD Foundation, including Dr. Seema Pandey, Dr. Anuradha, and Dr. Arshi, this initiative strives to take strides toward a healthier future for women everywhere.

Run for a cause, Run for her

The 'Run for Her' marathon is an initiative by the PCODestigmatised Foundation focused on empowering women and promoting early diagnosis. By joining the marathon, you will not only support the foundation’s ongoing awareness drive but also take a step toward promoting better health for women.

Set to take place this Sunday at Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal, Gomti Nagar the half marathon will include three categories — 3km, 5km or 10km.

The event will run from 6 AM to 7:30 AM, with cash prizes for the top finishers and participation certificates for all. Participants willing to join the marathon can register by filling the form here.

Join the PCOD Forum & Advocacy event on Saturday

The PCODestigmatised Foundation and Vanshati are committed to breaking the stigma surrounding PCOD and raising awareness in meaningful ways. Ahead of the 'Run for Her' marathon this Sunday, the foundation will host a special event at The Taj Mahal Hotel on September 21.

The program will feature a PCOD Forum & Advocacy session from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by the official launch of the PCOD Foundation from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The evening will conclude with cultural programs from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

All in all, the 'Run for Her' marathon and the awareness event by the PCODestigmatised Foundation are crucial steps in the fight against PCOD. Join the movement and make a difference this Sunday!
