As per the new guidelines, dialysis patients or patients who visit the hospital more than once every week for therapies or other medical care can enter the hospital with a 7-day old negative RT-PCR or TrueNat report. Apart from the report from an ICMR accredited lab, these patients are also required to show a valid prescription(not older than 7 working days) from SGPGI.
Meanwhile, all the test reports will be verified by the data entry operators or faculty members using a QR code scanner. In case of forgery, patients and the attendants will be held accountable for the crime and strict actions will be taken against them. Apart from handing them over to the security in charge, a formal police complaint will be registered against the culprits.
