More rain and thunderstorm anticipated as IMD issues Yellow Alert in Lucknow for Thursday & Friday

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Alert in Lucknow as the state capital has been predicted to witness intense rainfall and thunderstorm, starting tomorrow. Notably, the IMD has also predicted 'above normal' rainfall in July across the country.
Meanwhile, the weather forecast points out that some cities in East UP might begin experiencing heavy rainfall starting Wednesday itself. As for Lucknow, continued spells of intense rainfall are expected to lash the city till Saturday, July 13.
