The wildlife cynosure of Dudhwa National Park is all set to open its doors for visitors once again from November 15. However, here is a host of updates and exciting offerings that the national park has in store for its visitors:
Brimming with wildlife, dense forests, grasslands and water bodies, Dudhwa National Park has now not only decreased its service rates but is also kicking off a novel helicopter service!
All about the new helicopter service from Dudhwa
Seated in the Terai region of Uttar Pradesh, along the Indo-Nepal border in Lakhimpur Kheri, the protected area will especially offer seamless connection to nearby cities now. To make it accessible and convenient for tourists, the helicopter service will soon connect Lucknow to Dudhwa, Chuka Tiger Reserve and Kartaniyaghat Wildlife Sanctuary.
Located at a distance of approximately 216 kms from the city, or 5 hours via road, you will soon be able to reach Dudhwa in less than half an hour with the helicopter service.
The park's field director, Lalit Verma, added, “The park will open its gates to visitors on November 15, “The nearest helipad to Dudhwa is approximately seven kilometres away and it will take approximately 20 minutes to reach Dudhwa from there.
The initiative, currently in its finalisation process, is being carried out under the civil aviation department. "Companies will be invited to participate in a tender process, and once the bidding is finalised, the service will commence at a reasonable price," Lalit Verma explained.
