Shalimar Colorothon is all set to make its grand return to Lucknow on March 3. Promising an exhilarating journey into the world of artistic expression, this vibrant celebration is a canvas waiting to be filled with the strokes of your imagination, and there's no way you should miss this!

In collaboration with UP Tourism, the Shalimar Colorthon will unveil one of the Largest Open Art Platforms in the city. And the best part is that this event is free for all to participate!

Open for people of all ages, Colorothon is bringing an opportunity that lets each one immerse in a rich tapestry of art and culture. Whether you're an experienced artist or just someone who simply wants to engage in some artistic fun, this platform lets you showcase your talents, exchange ideas and ignite the spark of inspiration.

Envision a captivating art fiesta coming on the first Sunday of March! Picture a dynamic morning filled with diverse artistic events like group collage creation, mural painting, portrait sketching, and more. Sounds fun right?

Aaaand, the lively scene will echo with ongoing live music performances, and an enchanting drum circle event will add to the vibrant atmosphere!

Glimpses from the previous edition

The previous edition of Colorothon, held last year, attracted participants from all walks of life. The expansive open art gallery transformed into a bustling carnival for city residents, drawing enthusiastic participation from both children and young adults. In the park's sprawling expanse, individuals sought inspiration, whether perched on benches, lounging in chairs, or reclining on the lush grass, eagerly channeling their creativity onto canvas.

Notable figures, including Padma Bhushan recipient Ram V Sutar, renowned for his design of the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, graced the occasion. Additionally, esteemed filmmaker Muzaffar Ali joined in the painting activities, adding to the event's prestige.

Building on the success of its predecessor, Colorothon 2024 promises an array of attractions, including art exhibits with works available for purchase, a diverse selection of artistic activities, captivating music performances, appearances by distinguished personalities, and much more.
