The festive season this year has failed to tickle the consumers into spending, as several Quick-service Restaurants (QSR), high-end dine-ins and clubs in Lucknow witness a tepid response. Taking a time-out this year, the footfall in restaurants and clubs in Lucknow reportedly remained less as compared to the previous year, and pre-COVID times.
High-end restaurants' sale in Lucknow dips during Diwali
Festivals in India, especially Diwali are synonymous with grande get-togethers with family and friends, dining at posh restaurants & clubs and more. However, that is not the case this year.
City's biig names such as, Mocha, Vintage Machine and Big Daddy among others are witnessing a luke warm response. However, they remain optimistic and are anticipating a higher response from consumers post Bhai Dooj.
The pre-Diwali sales this year have been very stagnant, even when compared to last year, the low festive season rush for us has been a matter of concern, with record downfall registered at 30 to 40%.
