UP's Chandauli on its way to become an ecotourism paradise with its twin falls getting a makeover
Uttar Pradesh is well along its path to be transformed into an ecotourism destination, now with Chandauli district getting a makeover. Herein, Purvanchal will be blessed with a scenic skywalk 'Chandrakanta theme park', along with other activities in the works at the twin waterfalls of Devdari and Rajdari.
The falls, situated within a range of 1 kilometre and some 70 kms from Varanasi, have been assigned three projects worth ₹2 crore each. While the skywalk will be constructed at Devdari falls, the Rajdari falls will get infrastructure for net walls, rock climbing, and an ecotourism resort. The latter spot will also be adorned with eco shops.
Chandauli: A nature's paradise
The remnant works will entail a glass skywalk, adventurous activities like a zip line and cliff swing, a recreational Chandrakanta theme park, among other activities.
Along with this, the Chandraprabha wildlife sanctuary in Chandauli will be augmented and put on the ecotourism map, too. The new projects will also result in employment opportunities for locals and will aid in the state economy.
For all the adventurers reading this, Chandauli is full of explorative caverns, magnificent waterfalls, hidden viewpoints, Chandraprabha's teeming grasslands and rich flora and fauna — an all in all nature's paradise, if you will. And with the above plans in order, it is most likely to become a humongous ecotourism destination soon, with a jar of dense surprises awaiting you.
