The International Day of Yoga is right around the corner and a slew of events have been lined up to celebrate the practice of Yoga and a healthy lifestyle. From health camps to food distribution drives, there is a lot in store for you, this International Yoga Day!

Free Medical Camp at IIDM

Yoga is all about a person's overall well-being. And in order to stay fit and healthy, regular health check-ups are key. This Yoga Day, get a FREE check-up on your dental health, hair, and all skin-related issues at IIDM's medical camp in Lucknow.

Where: International Institute of Disaster Management, New Hazratganj, Omaxe City, Arjunganj

Timings: 5:30 AM to 7 AM

Annapurna Drive at Yoga Park

This food distribution drive plus Yoga session signifies the warmth of community and togetherness. The drive will begin early morning and will feature a Yoga session for the underprivileged kids, followed by a food distribution ceremony, where the kids will be served healthy meals.

Timings: 6:30 AM Onwards

Free BP and Blood Sugar Test at Max Super Specialty Hospital

Another absolutely FREE health camp is being conducted in your city on Yoga Day, focusing on Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar. Once the checkups at this free camp are conducted by Max Super Specialty Hospital, all participants will be given refreshments, as well.

The Yoga Day celebrations are underway at Lucknow University since weeks and will culminate with a bang on June 21. From sessions on Yoga practice to seminars on holistic wellness, this celebration is aimed at helping the youth reconnect with their health.

Set a Guinness World Record with AKTU

Giving a different twist to Yoga Day celebrations, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University is aiming to create a Guinness Book of World Record for an online pledge. Thousands upon thousands have already registered to take the pledge to imbibe Yoga into their daily lives.
