The Bombay Art Society (BAS), founded in 1888, is one of the oldest non-profit art institutions in the Asian subcontinent, promoting visual arts for 135 years now. Today, this society magnificently stands on a 10,000 sq. ft. land, housing three art galleries, an amphitheater, and an art books library. Basically, what we are trying to say is that this beautiful place is treasure trove of all things art. It has provided creators and collectors a well-equipped place to for share thrive and how!

Bombay Art Society is a significant addition to the Mumbai’s art and cultural infrastructure. It has given artists and art enthusiasts a place to thrive and host art exhibitions, film screenings, live demonstrations, presentations, lectures, workshops, educational activities and much more.

BAS’s Art Shop features works of many talented creators, wherein buyers can find a number of fine pieces, ranging from paintings, sculptures, digital prints and more. The 'society' connects the artist with buyers and the artworks can be viewed/purchased online here.

Apart from being an artistic community, Bombay Art Society is famous as a creative institute too. For this, they take in new batches every month and the duration of these sessions vary between 3 months to 1 year.
