Central Railway to run 8 weekly special trains between Mumbai (LTT) & Balharshah

According to a press release, Central Railways (CR) will run 8 weekly special trains between Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Balharshah, to streamline an increased festive passenger-rush. Major celebrations like Devshyani Ekadashi, Guru Purnima and Harryali Teej are falling this month, and the scheduled trains are likely to ease the travel situation in Maharashtra. Notably, the weekly special service will depart from Mumbai every Tuesday, from July 5 to July 27.

Train No. 01127/28 Superfast special Weekly Express, from Mumbai LTT- Balharshah- Mumbai LTT shall halt at thirteen railway stations, starting from Thane, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha, Hinganghat, Warora and finally Chandrapur. This service shall comprise of One AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class and 5 General second class including 2 Luggage cum Guard's Brake vans.

Train timings are as under:

· Train No. 01127 Superfast special: will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 09:45 PM every Tuesday from July 5 to July 26 (4 services) and will arrive Balharshah at 12:10 PM next day.

· Train No. 01128 Superfast special: will leave Balharshah at 01:40 PM every Wednesday from July 6 to July 27 (4 services) and will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 05:30 AM next day.

Passengers are advised to follow all COVID-19 appropriate behaviour for their and other's safety, given the high passenger load in the trains.
