This announcement marks a significant milestone for the airline, which began operations in March 2024, underscoring its rapid expansion and commitment to bridging underserved regions.
With these new routes, FLY91 expands its domestic network to nine destinations. The airline is also gearing up to triple its fleet by March 2025, further cementing its position as a key player in India’s regional aviation landscape.
Bridging cities, boosting growth
Launched just months after FLY91’s debut in March 2024, these new routes underscore the airline’s dedication to strengthening regional connectivity. By aligning with the government’s UDAN scheme, which aims to enhance accessibility in underserved regions, this initiative promises smoother travel experiences for business and leisure passengers alike. Solapur, renowned for its thriving textile industry and religious tourism, stands to gain significantly from these direct connections.
Operating from its hub at Manohar International Airport in Goa, FLY91 already serves cities such as Pune, Jalgaon, Sindhudurg, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Agatti in Lakshadweep.
Manoj Chacko, CEO of FLY91, expressed pride in the airline's unique offering, stating, that the airlines is honoured to be the only carrier providing direct connections between Solapur and key destinations like Mumbai and Goa, fostering economic growth and convenient travel for residents and visitors.
These new services are poised to reduce travel time, stimulate economic activity, and provide a dependable travel option for the region.
