Mumbai has long been known for its iconic horse-drawn tongas, a nostalgic relic of the past, ambling along the bustling streets of Nariman Point. These charming carriages, once a staple of the city's charm, have become symbols of a bygone era.

Precisely, in 2015, there was a blanket ban on Mumbai's famous horse-driven carriages, given incessant protests by animal rights groups. But as the saying goes, "the old must make way for the new," and that's precisely what's happening with the advent of Ubo Ridez.

Founded by Ketan Kadam and Dino Morea

Ubo Ridez is not just another mode of transport; it's a bridge between the cherished memories of Mumbai's past and the future of sustainable urban mobility. Founded by Ketan Kadam and Dino Morea, this eco-friendly and cruelty-free initiative has taken the city by storm with its nostalgic touch and modern sustainability quotient.

With a design reminiscent of Mumbai's beloved Victoria, UBO Ridez offers a glimpse into history while maintaining the convenience and comfort of today's transportation systems. What's truly remarkable, is that it is100% electronically operated, making it a pioneering green solution for urban commuting. Notably, it's only been three months since Ubo Ridez expanded its reach to Bandstand, a shift from its original South Mumbai exclusivity. The journey of the e-Victoria starts near Farhan Akhtar's Bandstand house, 'Vipassana.' From there, it weaves its way to some of Mumbai's most iconic landmarks, inlcluding Shah Rukh Khan's 'Mannat' and Salman Khan's 'Galaxy Apartments.'
