The Maharashtra Government has approved development plans totalling ₹1,213.44 crore for 10 religious, historical, and tourist attractions across the state. As per reports, orders were issued on June 21 to expedite the implementation of these plans, aiming to enhance local economies. While administrative approvals were granted last year, budget allocation for implementation had been pending until now. 

Approved destinations along with allocated budgets:

  1. Aundha Nagnath Temple in Hingoli: ₹15.21 crore

  2. Tiger's Point and Lion's Point in Maval: ₹333.56 crore

  3. Malojiraje Gadhi and Hazrat Chandshah Baba Dargah: ₹37.28 crore

  4. Hutatma Shivram Hari Rajguru's birthplace in Khed: ₹102.48 crore

  5. Rajmata Saibai Memorial in Velhe: ₹29.73 crore

  6. Santaji Jagnade Maharaj Mausoleum beautification: ₹66.11 crore

  7. Saptashrungi Devi pilgrimage in Nashik: ₹81.86 crore

  8. Pathri pilgrimage: ₹91.80 crore

  9. Pratapgad Fort Conservation and Koyna River Tourism in Satara: ₹381.56 crore

  10. Pandharpur Temple: ₹73.85 crore
