In view of the active Western Disturbances over Rajasthan, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 8 districts of Jaipur, Bikaner and Bharatpur divisions. As per the prediction made by the Met department, north-eastern districts of the state are likely to receive light rainfall and thundershowers on February 3 and February 4. As per the prediction made by the Jaipur Meteorological Department, light rain and lightning at isolated places are likely to accompany the cloud cover in Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Bharatpur, Ganganagar and Hanumangarh districts on February 3.Apart from this, a dip in temperature along with dense to very dense fog is likely to take over Jaipur and other districts of Rajasthan. On February 4, light rain along with cloud cover is expected to take over Alwar, Bharatpur and Dholpur districts. On Wednesday, the temperature in Jaipur is likely to balance out between 25°C to 10°C. This range of temperature is likely to remain unchanged in the next two days in the Pink City.
